Overview

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

 

Bonus- up to $7,000

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm


The Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) & Medical Support Specialist (MSS) conducts routine x-ray exams following Concentra's guidelines and under direct clinician supervision. The Rad Tech (RT) / MSS also assists in various needed areas of the facility. This position demands efficient one-on-one patient care within a dynamic environment, guaranteeing top-notch service delivery and fostering a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist patients for radiology procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Utilize radiation safety measures and protection devices for patient and team member safety.
  • Maintain and report on the functionality of radiologic equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to Radiology workflows, accurate report cross-referencing, and proper documentation.
  • Understands and maintains all MRI, CT, X-Ray Technology equipment

 

Medical Support Specialist Responsibilities

  • Conduct DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
  • Perform rapid screening tests for various conditions.
  • Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Perform routine medical procedures and triage emergent patients.
  • Dispense medications, apply bandages, dressings, and splints.
  • Perform clerical tasks, ensure accurate documentation, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a program at an accredited school of radiologic technology, accompanied by state-required certification.
  • Active registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with current certification.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid.
  •  

Job-Related Experience

  • Customarily has at least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology
  • Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred with prior medical office, healthcare and/or customer service-related experience.

  • Must participate in initial and ongoing training as required
  • Obtain all certifications required of Medical Support Specialists including but not limited to Drug Screen Collection, Breath Alcohol Certification, Hair and Oral Fluids Collection
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook and entry of data into various systems/applications
