The Vice President, Employment and Litigation will be a key member of the Concentra Legal Team, supporting the Company's labor and employment needs, and managing all litigation for the organization (employment and non-employment). In this role, you will be part of a collegial environment, driving effective employment law processes and practices and serving as a key member of various cross functional teams. The ideal candidate will exhibit a proactive approach to problem solving with an effort to reduce the Company’s risk profile.
Reporting to Concentra’s EVP & Chief Legal Counsel, you will partner with members of our Legal, Human Resources, Operations, Risk & Safety, and Executive teams to provide advice, counsel, and support on a broad range of labor and employment law and litigation matters. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, appropriately balance legal risk with business objectives, drive change, and create effective and relevant presentation and training materials. A practical, business-minded individual would be well-suited for this role.
