The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the quarterly tax provision, tax fixed asset accounting, quarterly estimates and preparing income tax returns. The candidate will also be responsible for the reconciliation of tax ledger accounts and analyzing information for income tax return preparation.
Prepare timely and accurate state and local income tax returns with all related supporting documentation for assigned entities.
• Assist in the preparation of the company’s quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with
ASC 740. Review tax positions and ensure accurate reporting on financial statements.
• Prepare quarterly state and local tax estimates for assigned entities.
• Prepare yearly fixed asset roll forwards reconciling the assigned entities fixed assets to the general ledger and ensuring that the assets are reported correctly for tax purposes.
• Conduct in-depth tax research on complex tax issues. Stay up to date with current tax legislation, regulations, and case law.
• Investigate income tax notices and prepare response letters for manager’s review.
• Support the company during tax audits by preparing required documentation, responding to audit inquiries, and working with Senior Director – Tax.
• Assist with miscellaneous projects and reports as requested.

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
Major: Accounting, Finance or a related field of study
Education Details:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience
• In lieu of higher education, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work
experience and vice-versa.
Certifications and/or Licenses:
• CPA or other relevant certifications are required.
Customarily has at least the following experience:
4 years
• Customarily has at least 4 years of experience in corporate tax and partnerships.
