Overview

Prepare and analyze SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) with XBRL tagging. Ensure compliance with Section
404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Assist with research on technical accounting and business issues,
sharing findings, ad-hoc analyses, and recommendations as needed.

Responsibilities


• Prepare SEC Filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and Proxy)
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the company’s financial statements in
accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards, including preparing financial
statements, drafting disclosures, and MD&A for both annual and quarterly financial statements.
• Prepare the quarterly disclosure checklist.
• Perform review of XBRL tagging.
• Prepare schedules that support the SEC Filings, such as earnings per share.
• Manage documentation requests related to quarterly and year-end activities.
• Prepare share-based compensation entries for month-end close and provide associated analysis.
• Perform and document internal controls in accordance with SOX.
• Complete tie-out and support binders for all public filings.
• Assist with other ad-hoc projects, as needed.

Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

 

Major:
Degree must be from an accredited college or university.


Education Details:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university or equivalent
education and experience


Certifications and/or Licenses:
• CPA required

 

Job-Related Experience


Customarily has at least the following experience: 4 years


• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience including a minimum of 2 years of Big 4 public
accounting experience.


• Experience in the preparation of SEC filings (10-Qs, 10-Ks, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Superior attention to detail, accuracy, critical problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines, while maintaining a high level of
detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Workiva strongly preferred.
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
