Sr. Manager, Security - NetSec/Ops/IR

The Sr. Manager, Security - NetSec/Ops/IR (Network Security/Operations/Incident Response) is focused on overseeing and implementing network security strategies and technologies within an organization, ensuring the protection of their digital assets and infrastructure. Work with key stakeholders in product management, engineering and cross functional teams to deliver technological solutions in sync with launch timelines. Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control.

• Develop and implement network security policies, standards, and procedures to protect the organization's network infrastructure and data.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate network security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
• Lead and coordinate incident response efforts in the event of security breaches or incidents.
• Mentor, coach, and manage a team of network security professionals.
• Communicate security risks and vulnerabilities to stakeholders and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security best practices are followed.
• Ensure that the organization's network security practices comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage the network security budget and ensure that resources are allocated effectively.

• Bachelor’s Degree ; Major: Computer Science, Information Systems
• Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable
• Minium of 5 years management experience building and leading a technical program management team
• Experience in Cloud Delivered Security Services

Job Related Skills/Competencies

• Deep understanding of SaaS software development lifecycle, processes and best practices
• Knowledge of Agile process and tools and experience delivering product in Agile environment
• Ability to write detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new features sets
• Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated experience in running program meetings
• Comfortable hosting senior level leaders (SVP/VP) and providing status/program updates
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to handle multiple job duties in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization, written and verbal
• Deep understanding of the following technologies and processes:
  • Endpoint Detection and Response
  • SEIM
  • Incident response
  • NextGen firewalls
  • Vulnerability management
  • Patching and software deployment
