As one of the largest and most rapidly expanding health care companies in the nation, we are looking for a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for our newest private OnSite Employee Health Center.

 

As this is a concierge style clinic (no fee for service), your focus is on quality of care and establishing a relationship with your patient panel. 

 

You will diagnose and treat work-related injuries, and perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for employees of this organization.   

 

In addition to providing occupational health services, you will also have the ability to support your patients to live their healthiest lives outside of work.  You will help them manage any chronic conditions and be an extra support for their primary care needs, not only for the patient, but with care also extended to their spouses.  

 

You will have the opportunity to get to know your patients entire family!  Patients may bring their children (ages 5 and older) to this center for basic urgent care services and sports physicals.  Note - we do not provide well child visits; we do not provide child vaccines; we do not manage any chronic conditions for children.

This is a full time ONSITE role in the North Fort Worth, TX / Westlake area. 

 

Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday 10:30a - 7p
  • Fridays 8a-5p

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:

  • Clinic environment
  • OnSite team includes an Athletic Trainer and Medical Assistant
  • Your local medical director support is a phone call/text away 
  • Local Concentra walk-in clinic is available only minutes away to provide Xray services if needed
  • Allscripts Touchworks EMR system

 

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Physician Assistant you will:

  • Examine patients and compile patient medical data and examination results
  • Order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests
  • Compile patient medical data, including health history and physical examination results; interpret diagnostic test results for deviations
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and managing infections

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred experience in a primary care specialty and/or occupational medicine clinic
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program
  • Skilled in the treatment of minor trauma and orthopedic injuries
  • Knowledge of the techniques and information needed to diagnose and treat human injuries
  • Must be able to treat a patient demographic of age 5 and older
