The Director, Client Strategy collaborates with all stakeholders to support new sales and existing onsite clients. The primary focus includes sales support during the initial proposal phase and the development of the account management team to support programs, processes for exceptional onsite services, client retention, and existing client growth. This position will support the development of strategic initiatives for onsite programs that will ensure strong client partnerships and continued program enhancements.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities      

Sales Liaison:

  • Work with sales, senior account managers, business development, etc. to evaluate new business opportunities
  • Participate in new sales presentations, as requested
  • Partner with sales support to create RFP responses, program recommendations, and to create response exhibits, as requested
  • In coordination with Legal, review new client MSA and SOW prior to execution and implementation
  • Work with sales to develop standard KPIs for new business opportunities
  • Develop negotiation guidance for sales to support earlier discussions of clinic support systems (PRN coverage, supply cost administration fee, staff salaries, on call coverage, etc.)  

Program Development:

  • Lead annual client satisfaction survey including set up, execution, and aggregate response analysis with senior leadership and Senior Account Managers
  • Collaborate with leadership and Senior Account Managers to ensure appropriate programing and operational excellence for onsite medical centers
  • Support implementation process as it pertains to developing execution plans and strategies
  • Develop and manage patient satisfaction survey process including education, and response analysis with Senior Account Managers and clinical management team
  • Provide education, guidance, and training to account management team on program KPI’s and account support requirements (audits, stewardship reporting, site visits, contract negotiations, service standards, strategy reviews, etc.)

Strategy Consultation:

  • Collaborate with senior account managers to identify individual and team opportunities
  • Meet with onsite leadership on a scheduled occurrence to discuss future strategies, service/program innovations and opportunities
  • Collaborate with onsite team for new service roll out to account management team (specialized services, virtual programs, etc.)
  • Support the training and education of new account managers
  • Contribute to ongoing training and education of sales team

Direct Client Book of Business:

  • This colleague may own their own book of business depending on size and scale

Qualifications

Education/Credentials

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or other health care-related degree.  Degree must be from an accredited college or university.

 

Job-Related Experience

Customarily has at least the following experience: 5 years health-related program development experience.  On-site health experience preferred.

Physical/Mental Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously sitting for extended periods, frequent walking, and occasional standing. May continuously utilize hands and fingers for typing, flex or extend wrist to perform other job-related tasks. The employee is continuously required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate PC, office equipment and/or other equipment. Due to the nature of this position, an employee can expect heavy computer usage requiring wrist flexion/extension for at least 8 hours per day. Occasional stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, or overhead reaching, and climbing in the performance of work. The ability to hear and understand with clarity and detect sound, and have conversations with staff, customers, management, etc. Hearing within the acceptable range for telephone and in-person contacts. Normal or corrected vision to acceptable levels for office work. The ability to lift/carry up to 10 pounds.

In this position, the employee may have imposed pressure on a routine and frequent basis to meet various deadlines, contact with people in stressful and unpredictable situations and to handle confidential and sensitive information and situations with care.

 

Minimal overnight travel up to 10% by land or air may be required of employee in this position. While travelling the employee may encounter varying weather conditions, road and walking surfaces and will need to adjust to those conditions (i.e., inclement weather, slippery surfaces, wet surfaces, uneven surfaces, humid, cold or hot temperatures, etc.) Also, while travelling the employee will need to adjust to the physical demands that may include: lifting to place luggage in overhead bin(s), standing in line(s), walking, sitting for unknown periods of time, and other physical demands that travelling may impose on a person.
