The Support Engineer II, Clinical Center Optimization will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare clinics by ensuring seamless IT performance before, during, and after technical fieldwork. The role requires a mix of site visits, monitoring, coordination, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure stability and accountability across clinics’ IT environments. Possess strong skills in software maintenance and a deep understanding of clinical systems to optimize workflows and enhance user experiences. Pivotal in ensuring the functionality of clinical applications, providing critical support to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage clinical application configurations
  • Provide technical support to users
  • Collaborate with technical teams to solve system issues
  • Monitor and calculate system performance metrics
  • Adhere to security and compliance protocol
  • Point of contact for incident resolution
  • Perform systems upgrades and maintenance
  • Document support processes and solutions
  • Identify areas for process improvement
  • Possess clinical systems administration knowledge
  • Provide user support in health applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve clinical systems issues

  • Document baseline IT health reports per clinic (network, device, session data).
  • Oversee On-Site/Vendor Work Oversight (remote or in person and/or perform tasks), Post-Visit Validation, Ongoing Monitoring & Maintenance, Documentation & Reporting.  

Qualifications

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Major: Computer Science
  • Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable 2–4 years in IT support, infrastructure analysis, or systems administration.
  • 5 years in IT support, infrastructure analysis and/or systems administration
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare IT infrastructure is essential.
  • Experience implementing security measures
  • Demonstrated results in IT support, infrastructure analysis, or systems administration.
  • Exposure in clinical applications, including troubleshooting, configuration, and user training.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to clinical applications, including EHR systems, patient management software, and medical device integrations.
  • Ability to work with SQL databases and application performance monitoring tools is essential.
