Physician Clinic Medical Director GROWTH POTENTIAL

$100K hiring bonus, $10K annual director stipend PLUS monthly/quarterly incentives!  Relocation assistance, advancement potential, and 4-day work week potential!

This role begins with medical oversight of one location. Unique to Modesto, there is potential for oversight of two locations (Modesto and Ceres), which will reflect in an increase to the annual director stipend.  Further, strong performance may lead to a promotion to Associate Director of Medical Operations and will include oversight of up to four locations within Stockton and Modesto.  Last, if the market allows, there is potential for a 4-day work week (salary adjusted accordingly). 

At Concentra, our Medical Directors spend most of their time clinically treating patients; the remaining time is focused on quality improvements and building the center business with the Center Leadership Team. • Provides direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience
• Provides leadership in healthcare management to ensure day-to-day execution of medical model collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure
• Manages clinicians, support staff, and complies with APC supervisory requirements
• Creates a professional and collaborative working environment
• Works with leaders to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous medical clinic improvement
• Maintains relationships with center clients and payers
• Works with medical clinic leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levels
• Promotes, cultivates, and exemplifies Concentra values for all clinic colleagues
• Fosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement and reward and recognition
• Possesses financial awareness and provides input to clinic budget and key business metrics

• Active and unrestricted medical license
• Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date)
• Must be eligible to participate in Medicare
• Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred
• FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $280K - $320K annually + $10K Director Stipend depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
