The Senior Accountant applies well-established accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices
to moderately difficult financial problems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform centralized accounting and full-cycle month end close process for assigned business unit and clinic locations 
  • Perform general ledger maintenance, financial statement analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, accrual accounting, and variance analysis
  • Communicate and work with operational personnel in field, as well as all levels of corporate management
  • Assist management to ensure proper controls and SOX compliance requirements are met
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Perform assigned accounting projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience
  • In lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa
  • CPA would be a plus
  • Customarily has at least five or more years of experience in full cycle month end close process, account reconciliation and variance analysis
  • Experience with multi-location and multi-legal entity accounting
  • Experience in a challenging, complex financial reporting environment
  • Oracle or other ERP experience
