The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and processing complex multi-state payroll operations while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role serves as a subject matter expert, providing support to payroll team members including mentorship, auditing, and system testing, while partnering closely with the payroll tax team, payroll systems team, HR, and finance, to ensure accurate and timely pay for all employees. The ideal candidate has extensive multi-state payroll knowledge, strong analytical skills and a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement. The Concentra payroll team is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll for approximately 14,000 employees.
The position will report to the Manager, Payroll Services and can be a hybrid or remote role depending on the employee’s home base.
