The Recruiting Manager enhances the results of a team of recruiters responsible for recruiting personnel by providing strategic, tactical, and functional support on a day-to-day basis. The manager develops relationships with key business leaders and works with corporate support departments to ensure the quick and efficient hiring of talent while guaranteeing an exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of recruiters located both in-office and remote. Responsibilities include hiring, performance management, and terminations in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, and procedures 
  • Prepare reporting for business leaders documenting open requisitions, hires, and other pertinent key performance indicators of department 
  • Analyze statistical data and other reports concerning all aspects of employment function to identify opportunities for improvement 
  • Develop plans for enhancement of employment policies, processes, and practices specifically related to hiring 
  • Support recruiters by removing obstacles that prevent exceeding expectations of hiring managers and organization by streamlining communication channels, ensuring meeting effectiveness, evaluating reporting efficiency and value, as well as confirming the use and success of departmental tools 
  • Provide opportunities for professional recruiter development to support better results, enhanced skills, or career path and promotion opportunities to build bench strength 
  • Drive alliances across all business lines and foster relationships within the business to enhance successful business partnerships 
  • Ensure recruiters are appropriately adhering to the service level agreement and properly holding the field accountable to expectations 
  • Create and execute strategic initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of organizational recruitment for healthcare professionals 
  • Consistently evaluate effectiveness of recruiting tools to make recommendations and manage vendor relationships to provide the best outcomes for acquiring the highest level of talent 
  • Source and fill executive level roles – utilizing networking and sourcing skills 
  • Lead strategic staffing discussions with business leaders and HR partners to align recruiting objectives appropriately and continually with evolving business objectives

Qualifications

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Major: Degree must be from an accredited college or university. 
  • In lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa Certifications and/or Licenses: 
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • Customarily has at least five or more years of successful recruiting experience 
  • Customarily has at least two or more years of direct management experience 
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives in conjunction with driving results of a team of individual contributors

  • Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions 
  • Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism 
  • The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies 
  • Expertise and knowledge in the effective sourcing of qualified healthcare professionals 
  • Ability to manage all aspects of the recruiting cycle for clinical roles 
  • Results-oriented with a sense of urgency 
  • Ability to create, design, and implement sound management reporting of recruiting activities 
  • Dynamic written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent negotiation and organizational skills 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities 
  • Ability to think logically, strategically and work independently 
  • PC proficiency with experience in Microsoft applications, computerized applicant tracking systems and customer relationship management systems 
  • Relationship management ability and experience

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information 
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment
